H50: Qualifier - All Ireland Donkey Mare and Foal Championship
The Irish Shows Association and Ballinasloe Show Society presents the All Ireland Donkey Mare and Foal Championship. Sponsored by Gerry Stronge and John Harney. Prize fund €600. Entry fee to qualifying show €10 and to final €15. Final Ballinasloe Show - SUNDAY 26th September 2026.
RULES AND CONDITIONS
1. This Championship is for Donkey Mare with Foal at Foot.
2. All Exhibitors must have the Dam’s passport, (in accordance with EU legislation for all entries which includes Donkeys), ready for inspection at the Qualifying Show and Final.
3. Two Donkeys to qualify if Judges & I.S.A agree that the standard is high enough.
4. The Qualifying Exhibitor must fill out their own Qualifying Card at each Qualifying Show. Completed card and entry fee must be handed into the secretary's office on show day.
These rules should be read in conjunction with the ISA Rules. ENTRY FEE to Qualifying show €10 to Final €15
PRIZES: 1st €200. 2nd €150. 3rd €100. 4th €75. 5th €50. 6th €25. A prize will be presented for Combination of Best Turned out Donkey and Most Suitably Dressed Handler.
