There's an impressive programme of classes in the Equine Section at Athlone Agricultural Show this year. 107 Classes across 5 Rings including Broodmares and Foals, Young Horses, In Hand Connemara Ponies, Irish Draughts, Ridden Ponies, Ridden Connemara Ponies, Cobs, Family Pony Classes, Working Hunter, Ridden Horses and Donkeys. 

We are hosting Five Qualifiers for the Dublin Horse Show, BREEDERS’ CHAMPIONSHIP – SHOW JUMPING and EVENTING, INTERMEDIATE SIDE SADDLE, LADIES SIDE SADDLE and RACEHORSE TO RIDING HORSE sponsored by The Irish Racehorse Trainers Association along with many qualifiers for the ISA All Ireland Championships 2025  Also, the Athlone Show Society present the IRISH DRAUGHT MARE AND FOAL BREEDERS CHAMPIONSHIP sponsored by PIPELIFE, with an substantial €850.00 in prizemoney.
