Athlone Agri Show has an expanded cattle at the show this year.

We have classes featuring Hereford , Angus, Shorthorn, Belgian Blue, Charolais, Limoisin, Simmental, Salers Commercial and a young handlers Class.

The Irish Shows Association and the Department of Agriculture presents the Breeder's Choice Continental 4*or 5* Breeding Heifer sponsored by the Department of Agriculture with prize money of e750.00.

We have a qualifier for the all Ireland Pedigree Suckler Type Heifer Championship sponsored by Irish farm Supplies with prize money of e2500.00

We also feature 5 classes in the commercial section featuring the Kepak Beeef Heifer  sponsored by Kepak with  prize money of e600.00.
