H41: Qualifier - Irish Draught Yearling Filly Championship
The Irish Shows Association and Roscommon Show Society presents the Roscommon Irish Draught Yearling Filly Championship. Delivered by HSI and funded under National Breeding Services by the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine. Sponsored by Hannons Hotel, Roscommon. Prize fund €2500. Entry fee to qualifying show €15 and to final €30. Final Roscommonl Show - SATURDAY 15th August 2026.
RULES AND CONDITIONS
1. This competition is open to animals, with the breed code ID, registered in The Irish Draught Horse Studbook (or a harmonised Irish Draught Studbook) with recorded breeding.
2. Two animals may qualify for the final provided the judges feel the standard is high enough for an ISA Championship.
3. One of the judges at the qualifying show must be a qualified Irish Draught Horse Judge.
4. Passports & Microchips should be read by a Vet at the Final.
5. Animals Qualified for Final are not eligible to enter any other class at show where final is held .
6. The Qualifying Exhibitor must fill out their own Qualifying Card at each Qualifying Show. Completed card and entry fee must be handed into the secretary's office on show day.
These rules should be read in conjunction with the I.S.A Rules.
PRIZES Champion €500, 2nd €300, 3rd €200, 4th €150, 5th €125, 6th and upwards €100. A prize will be presented for Combination of Best Turned Out Animal & Most Suitably Dressed Handler
